Ulvetanna Peak is a mountain located in the Queen Maud Land of Antarctica. It is a part of the Giaever Mountain Range, and it rises up to a height of 2,930 meters (9,616 feet). Ulvetanna Peak was first climbed in January 1994 by a Norwegian expedition led by Aleksander Gamme. The mountain has very steep and challenging faces, making it a popular climb for experienced mountaineers. The name "Ulvetanna" translates to "the wolf's tooth" in Norwegian, and it is believed to have been named by the early explorers who were reminded of the sharp, pointed teeth of a wolf when they first saw the mountain.
